New nVidia PCI IDs arrived

There are new PCI.IDS for Nvidia

New Nvidia GPU 1180 series

A PCI ID is the thing that identifies a piece of hardware in our PCs. Which later allows the driver to recognize this part. So the news is that these IDs are now registered to Nvidia.

You can find all of them at the bottom here.

They were updated on July 21. Here is which Vendor/model IDs were added:

1e07 GV102
1e3c GV102GL
1e87 GV104 [GeForce GTX 1180]
1eab GV104M

GL is a  Quadro and M means mobile GPU version

Do you think the GV102 will be a 1160 or a1170 or something else?

The most power efficient GPU?

There was always a fight between the two camps - intel vs AMD, AMD vs Nvidia. When mining, nobody cares about this. All miners want is the best hashrate and most power efficient GPU.

See below how the Team Green and Team Red perform on EThash algo:

Best Hashrate per Watt ratio GPUs

Nvidia:

Model - Watts - hashrate = efficiency
---------------------------------------------
1050Ti - 50W - 15mhs = 0.3 Mh/W
1060 - 60W - 25mhs = 0.41 Mh/W
1070 - 86W- 32mhs = 0.37 Mh/W
1070Ti - 100W - 34mh/s = 0.33 Mh/W
*1080 - 160W - 54mh/s = 0.33 Mh/W
*1080Ti - 170W - 56mh/s = 0.32 Mh/W

  2080 - 145W - 41mh/s = 0.28 Mh/W

*(with the ethlargement pill)

Don't believe? Learn how to undervolt Nvidia

AMD:

Model - Watts - hashrate = efficiency
---------------------------------------------
RX470 - 105W- 26Mhs = 0.24 Mh/W
Rx480 - 120W - 29Mhs = 0.24 Mh/W
RX570 - 90W - 30mhs = 0.33 Mh/W
Rx580 - 95W - 31mhs = 0.32 Mh/W
Vega56 -170W - 46mhs = 0.27 Mh/W
Vega64 - 200W - 48mhs = 0.24 Mh/W

** All video cards are overclocked, undervolted and optimized for best stable hashrate while keeping the cost and temperatures as low as possible for 24/7 mining!
*** The results are calculated for cards using Samsung memory (Nvidia only!). This is the best case scenario -  Second best is for Micron, Hynix has a memory controller limit, which limits the maximum load to around 90%, preventing the card to go to full speed during mining. During gaming it works normally.

*** All power values should be measured with a watt meter. Software meters are not correct.
All of the above values are approximate. There are too many variables which can influence the numbers. However the biggest difference should be no more than 4Mh/s:

  1. Is the GPU tuned for best power efficiency?
  2. At what temp the GPU is running? Higher temps cause worse power efficiency due to fan speed increase.
  3. At what TDP value you are running them? Minimum is 50%, max is 100.
  4. GPU quality - how stable power delivery the card has; -how good is the cooling (more heat pipes, copper pipes, etc); -memory brand used; -core voltage achievable.
  5. PSU (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze) MB, CPU, Risers, HDD/SSD used. You can shave off some watts by using SSD and downclocking and undervolting the CPU.
  6. Linux or Windows? Windows tends to have a little bit better options for fine tuning.
  7. How stable it is for 24/7 mining operation?
How do YOU manage to get the most out of your cards? Please share your hashrate!

How to earn cryptocurrency without investing or mining?

You cannot take crypto, without investing first

How to earn crypto without mining?
You must invest. It can be money, electricity, time, thinking.. but you have to.

You can come up with an idea for using blockchain for some unique purpose, but this is also investing. Investing time. If you decide that I'm right, you can check some of the ways to earn from crypto in a more indirect way:
  1. Rent out your free HDD space for Storj coins. At the time the coin becomes big, they might cost a fortune.
  2. Rent out Hash power from MRR or Nicehash and use it to mine new, easy coins, then sell them at the proper time or HODL for even greater profit. Today everyone believes in some, currently infamous coin.
  3. Learn trading and start doing it on BinanceStexHitBTC or any other trading platform of your liking. After you have accumulated some crypto, or after investing fiat money.
  4. Create a blog and start writing bounty articles for various new coins (similar to This or This) You can combine that with Adense.
  5. Create a website with links to a lot of referral links, similar to this and start earning from them. However you'll need excellent SEO optimization and huge traffic.
  6. Earn by collecting bounties via translations of ANN topics for new coins, making social networking noise, writing Wallets, miners, collect airdrops etc.
  7. Create a Youtube channel where you bring value to crypto community. If you're good at it, you'll get visits.
  8. Get some of the staking coins and start staking them to earn more of them or invest in a Master Node for Proof of stake income.
  9. Write a software miner and take 1% of it's users mined amount for yourself. You can create one for a new algorithm or improve the performance of some existing algo (you must be a very good coder).
  10. Get a job which is payed in crypto.
  11. Become a part of some coin team. That way you will receive payment in that crypto currency.
12 . Get a job at a farm, where you support the mining rigs and ask to be payed in crypto.

Any ways for earning crypto with no mining or investing I missed? Post below.

JSE coin - the web banner killer

As I was browsing the thousands and thousands of crypto coins, searching for promising ones, I stumbled upon JSE coin. What intrigued me was that it is not just a ticker name, asking for money or trust. Instead, it is fully functional web mining coin.

Java script embedded cryptocurrency
Java script runs on any browser

So far nothing that unusual, I said to myself. The guys just put more effort into integrating the mining inside a website so it can be accessible from any computer. I started reading further and learning more about it.

The miner can be integrated inside ANY website. The goal is for the users to be able to pay for the given website's content by using their CPU calculating power.  "Well, a great idea!" - I told myself.
But isn't it going to make the web browsing experience slow and sluggish? I was very skeptical in the beginning, but then decided to try it out. I went to JSEcoin's website, registered and started web-mining:

CPU mining via browser
CPU usage while reading or typing on your PC
Once I started browsing and doing something on my computer, the miner automatically decreased hashrate to minimum, so I did not feel any problem. My computer was completely usable. Then once I started typing this post, the hashing was resumed, making sure the processor was fully utilized.

Then I started reading even more about it and found it's real purpose - JSE coin mining can replace web advertising and banners! Some websites'c content does not match most advertisements, others are refused to run adds due to some Adsense restrictions. So site owners can benefit from integrating the web miner instead:
JSE coin for site owners

I visited several such websites and as a visitor I was asked if I would allow the JSE coin miner to run while I'm browsing the website. Which is really, really neat! This will also encourage the website owners to create better and more valuable content. So it's a win-win for all!

Then I went skeptcial again. How is it possible that this coin is still not that famous and popular?
I checked and it turned out that it is indeed a very young coin, created in August 2017. But at the same time it has already created value before asking people for investments. While other coins start with announcement, aim for hype, spam using thousands of websites and people with nothing but a promise and big words, JSEcoin team was working, building and creating value.

Future.
They now want to go big. So they need funds for listing to some of the big exchanges.
Since JSE coin has zero pre-mine, the only option to continue it's development was ICO.
It started a few days ago and will continue.

At the time of writing this, the price was somewhere around $ 0.006 per JSE coin. So there will be enough time for everyone to participate, invest, get to know the project, the JSE Team and change the web advertising using blockchain technology.

Is it worth investing?
From my own experience, if you join an already developed coin, which hit the exchanges long time ago, then there can be slight to no profit. If you want a big profit, you have to invest heavily. On the contrary, JSE is still:
a) a little known coin
b) has no premine
c) decentralized (in future, once many websites start using it)
d) can be mined by anyone anywhere
e) CPU only (prevents from GPU farms to take over and allows every guy on earth who owns a computer to mine).
f) can be paid in ETH at a pretty low price now, at the ICO phase.
g) unlike some coins, JSEcoin has real purpose
h) JSE company is based in in Cambridge, United Kingdom and is a UK registered company:

All of the above convinced me to invest in JSE coin and later add it to my websites. It may not kill web banners completely, but it sure is going to disturb the current web advertising and bring a positive change using blockchain technology.

Many small websites are struggling because they have low visitor count, which means even lower PPC rate. With JSEcoin this problem will be solved. Every website visitor can contribute willingly to any website. At the same time he/she will not be flooded with web adds and will have much better experience, while receiving high-quality content.
